Wessex Walkers

BrightApe created a brand new site for the Wessex Walkers, a walking group based in the New Forest. The Website has to serve three purposes. To attract New Members to the group, to inform current members of their program of walks and events plus be able to inform the group of sudden changes to events for weather or other reasons.

To do this we created a new smarter look for the Wessex Walkers website that conveys what the club is about. We also created a website that allows members of the clubs who run their events and walks to post them directly onto the website where a member of the clubs committee can view and approve or edit the walk or social as needed. Practically everything on the website can be controlled by the club from the news on the front page to the links and the jobs on the committee contacts page. This is a change from the old situation where it was down to one person within the club to give up their time to republish every page when something changed, this took a lot of time and meant there was always a delay making the website hard to keep up to date.
